  • Contract Type: Permanent – After Completion of 3 Month Probationary Period

The Ideal Applicant...
 
Carpet Sales experience is advantageous but not necessary if you have experience in retail face to face sales ie beds or furniture or electrical goods or similar etc as we will train on the job. I.T. proficiency is important as a willingness to learn and adapt and an eye for detail, efficiency, and good administration and organisational skills. Our carpet salespeople are knowledgeable, trusted specialists, offering expert guidance and support to our customers, helping to turn their houses into homes.
 
You should be able to:
  • Provide an excellent customer experience, helping customers to choose the perfect flooring for their homes
  • Achieve personal and team sales targets
  • Easily build rapport and confidently seek to understand each customer’s needs
The person that we are looking for to join our team should be efficient, have a naturally friendly personality and have a 'can do', helpful attitude with a passion for great customer service. You should have a natural attention to detail, be numerate, logical and be able to develop rapport with our customers & consistently convert sales in a this very busy department.
 
Being a local family company the role and tasks can be varied and so we require a flexible, willing and motivated individual to fit well within our small friendly team. In return you will be working in a really nice friendly busy environment, a place where you can really feel that you belong when you come to work and not just a number answerable to an area manager in some remote head office. We are financially secure, with no borrowings and being a local Lincoln owned company who reinvests back into our business we can also offer the right applicant real job security and the chance to earn extra based upon the products you sell.
